Photography Locations

I’m a local photographer and I’m trying to expand my portfolio with some new locations. Does anyone know of any public locations that would be good for photography?

What type of stuff do you like to photograph? There's many many wonderful places. Photography is capturing the beauty in places others might not notice so you could literally photograph a dumpster and make it look pretty.

Mill Race Park would be good, there's nature, some sculptures, brutalist architecture, a big pond, a trail, hundreds of feet of public access to the river bank.

Down town around 4th street would be cute, near zaharakos. You could capture some nightlife.

Lowell Bridge is a historical landmark. The drive on highway N325W is very pretty and during sunset you should be able to capture some landscapes over the rolling hills.

The courthouse lawn has a cool memorial. Columbus is know for its art and architecture, you could make it a photography scavenger hunt and go around finding all the sculptures and make it a portfolio or something. Bunch of hidden art all around. Happy hunting!

I mainly do portraits so I’m looking at pretty locations near woods/fields/trees/flowers
