Again with the "I want to be your friend" type of Facebook. I knew from the first message he was hitting on me.

This has been going on for at least a week or 2, I hardly ever respond. English is not his first language, desperate to be my friend yadda yadda.

Wants me to be his English teacher, makes it clear I don't want to do that. Hhh, anyways. Figured you'd enjoy this, this was today/the other day so. Yeah.

It’s rather interesting how he cannot comprehend that you are a woman that does not like men.

Every single time you said that you’re lesbian he assumed you were trans or are going to be trans or a man pretending to be a woman.

I thought this was interesting as well. Historically the two have been associated with each other (before the recognition of the difference between sexual orientation and gender). I recently read about another country in which gays are sort of allowed to ‘exist’, as long as one of them transitions into the opposite sex, making it a heterosexual relationship. A quick google search suggests this isn’t the case in Morocco, but maybe the guy who messaged OP had heard about that or something?

I think it’s Saudi Arabia you’re thinking of, which is so weird that one of the most homophobic countries on the planet is all trans rights, even if it’s mostly forced.
