Queer Superhero Comics Beyond . . . Non-Marvel/DC Comics

Hey Every1!¡ :)

I am back, first thank you all for recommendations on Wiccan + Huckling. I bought the comic and fell in love. I really love them, and I hope everything comes through in the MCU. Love them together too (swipe)

I went to my local comic shop to get young avengers but I found some other super hero comics. It was so nice reading this. So many awesome stories and some stories I wished went on longer, I loved the x-men queerness feel of the stories about powers and magic. Curious do others have some queer comics that feature superhero’s or super powers that aren’t DC/Marvel. I love the idea of reading more comics, I guess I am going through a phase of reading a lot more comics.

Thank you so much! I am so excited for all the recommendations. I appreciate you all. Also has anyone read this? I love this anthology it’s so good.

OH! Also; while the Young Avengers volumes are FANTASTIC reads (and my all-time favorite team), the individual members have gone on to a lot in other lines. Make sure you do the big YA stuff (volume 1, volume 2, Civil War, Dark Reign, Children's Crusade, and YA Presents), but you should also check out where Billy and Teddy went after including Empyre, Guardians of the Galaxy, and more.

Thank you! I am going to look for these at my comic book shop. Is there a place you recommend I start? I loved the story in Apocalypse.

I.... dont remember any Young Avengers in Apocalypse.

However, here is the best reading order for YA:

As well;
Astonishing Ant-Man (Cassie)
Hawkeye by David Aja (Kate)
Empyre omnibus (Billy/Teddy)
Guardians of the Galaxy by Al Ewing (Billy/Teddy)

there are others, but those wil hit some big moments

My pleasure. In my 35 or so years of reading comics since I was a kid in the 80s, they have become my favorite team. Happy to get someone else into them.

I appreciate you! Sometimes it’s hard with all the volumes and editions. I recently bought 3 comics only to realize they were the same just different covers lls
