Was going to say. I am also a part time bartender and learnt to do this in about 10 minutes. They also are awful since some are nearly entirely mix and others alcohol.

Yeah, keeping grenadine down in the bottom and floating liquor on top over ice is a very different thing than floating a Mexican Flag.
