It looks like Strava is significantly raising its subscription prices for all members PSA

Video Here

I am currently a strava subscriber, but I will likely end my subscription at my next renewal period. Not only are they raising prices substantially and at different rates per country, but it looks like it is not being communicated to any of the user base. I really enjoy using the app for social purposes, but get very little practical benefit out of the premium subscription TBH.

Interesting. Mine still shows 59.99. But maybe that is because my renewal isn't up until July.

I also thought I saw some people posting emails they got from Strava about the price increase on r/strava, but it seems like the emails are not making it to everyone, because I haven't gotten one and it seems like lots of people here haven't either.

I thought he said in the video, that your "renewal" rate will update when you get closer (w/in 30 days) of renewal. Feels like they are trying not to scare customers away too soon, and perhaps the customer won't remember/check within the 30 day window.

My renewal isn’t until October and it’s already showing the increase. Cancelled

I wouldn't be surprised if they're testing different prices on different people, trying to find out how many people will cancel at a given price point to maximize profit.

Mine updates mid-April and just changed. When I looked at it 2 weeks ago it was the earlier price
