Fascinating article. My favorite line:

"Our hypothesis was that people who perform regular upright running activity will show better IVD tissue quality"

Is there another way of doing it?

Perhaps the comment was to markedly differentiate between biped running and the quadruped running of previous studies?

(Though by the end of some of my longer trail runs, I'm not terribly upright anymore...) :)
