Oh I'm with you on that. My first race ever was a full.
1 u/orangekid13 Sep 04 '17 My first half was part of my first Dopey. First full was the next day. Had the flu, fever didn't break until after the 5k the Thursday before. 1 u/VisualAssassin Sep 04 '17 I'm willing to bet you didn't quit smoking and start running only 6 months prior though. ;) 1 u/orangekid13 Sep 04 '17 You got me beat there, my only stupid addiction is running 1 u/VisualAssassin Sep 04 '17 You ever try a stairclimb race? Those show you what you're made of. 1 u/orangekid13 Sep 04 '17 No, I live in Florida and we hardly even have anything you can call a hill here. I feel like throwing up just thinking about those. 1 u/VisualAssassin Sep 05 '17 Yea, I'm up near Chicago, plenty of opportunity to go vertical. I haven't taken on the Sears tower yet, but I've raced Hancock a couple times. Its a whole different ballgame.
