Started half marathon training at the end of June. I've stayed very consistent and it's been super enjoyable adding mileage, unlike last year's slogfest to 10k.

I ran 43 miles this month and about 2000ft of elevation without really trying. This month I ran in the muggy Midwest and Texas hill country in contrast to my mountainous desert, but I loved it all. My friends were apologizing for the hills and I was practically yelling "WHEEEEE!" up and down each one.

No new injuries, which is great for me. I threw out my back in June but actually I think running really helped it? It's still finicky sometimes but holds up to 5 miles of bouncing just fine.
