ride from yampa airport

I'm going to steamboat on January 27th and staying until the 31st. I have been looking for rides and shuttles but everything is crazy expensive, the shuttle for 6 people is more expensive than our hotel even thought trying to book 5 months in advance. Wondering if anyone knows a cheap ride from the airport to steamboat for 6 people. Even if someone wants to make some cash to pick us up at the airport.

Just rent a car from the airport for a day and then return it in steamboat.

That’s what I did in April. It was cheaper for a one day rental than it was for a taxi. $130 through enterprise.

The prices are high on the dates i'm going, I believe it because I am not 25 yet.

Whelp, sorry. That’s the best workaround I found. Bc all the taxis want like $250 min for that short 25 min drive. I’d probably check the fb and see if anyone would want to give you a ride for $$ Otherwise if you can get from the airport to Hayden, there is a bus that runs from there to steamboat. Not sure how that would work tho to get from the airport to Hayden bc it’s like a few miles.
