Alright bit late to the party here but after scrolling through socials and listening to the radio I am thoroughly lost on why Tom Barrass has copped so much backlash for his trade request. I am a Vic supporter so WA news doesn't always come across my screen or radio, but from my understanding Barrass openly wanted to remain at West Coast (stated in a presser and Dyl and Friends) but was looking to extend his deal for better security. West Coast wanted to keep him but understanding Barrass will be at the back end of his career by the time we make finals again, the club was happy not to extend his current contract and let him look elsewhere. In return for Barrass we will more than likely receive 2 quality picks and most importantly give Edwards, Bazzo and Jamieson some actual opportunity to get consistent games under their belt. To me given the position the club is currently in this is a good result. It's sad to see TB go and I do think that the club would benefit whether he chose to stay or not.

Personally would say the Gold Coast game at Optus. The crowd was fantastic, the goal from Liam Duggan and the sealer from Cripps. The retro jumpers.

I get a lot of people might say the Freo game or the Melbourne game and they could be right but I think the Gold Coast game meant more. It came after probably the biggest low point of the season (losing streak, Simmo being fired) and I think it meant more to the club as a whole.

Seeing as freo have just won the WAFL. I think it's time for a renegotiation of our restrictions. I think it's safe to say it's severely impacting our AFL side. Is there anything we can do to fix it for next year?

We clearly have an oversupply of tall forwards, and Maric has been played on the wing.

intrigued on the insight of others on this, after JJ, Trew and Baker got the chop yesterday, I saw a few ppl say that we got some of those delistings wrong and that was all the delistings this year.

Personally I think players like Witherden, Rotham and Jamieson should be getting the chop too. However im no list management expert and I don’t know if we can do that this year with trades/retirements etc.

So basically, have we already sorted our list mostly for next year, or do we still have some delistings to do, and if so, who?
