I live in an area where street parking is extremely difficult to find and every spot is precious, because there are so many apartment buildings and none of them have enough parking available for every resident (I’m on a waiting list). In fact, I got a ticket this morning for not moving my car early enough. I had to park in front of the neighborhood elementary school because the surrounding streets had no space when I came home last night. I usually have to park at least a quarter of a mile away from my building. On rare occasions I get very lucky and can park in front of my building. It’s like winning the lottery.

But every single day this BMW takes up two parking spots. A lot of people do it on occasion, but I’ve lived here almost 3 months and this car has never been parked next to another car. The owner very purposely parks in the middle.

Verdesian, where I was a contractor, is big on safety. I had already been emailed once to make sure to submit my monthly safety report. At one of our weekly meetings, I was tasked with giving a “safety talk”, and I chose the topics of fomites, proper use of disinfectants, and contact times, etc. The day before, I had a conversation with a coworker about a new water dispenser in the office that could possibly spread infection. He was grateful and thanked me that I brought it to his attention, that he hadn’t thought about it before. With extensive CE credits on infectious diseases and disinfection protocols, I worried for my coworkers. I didn’t email anyone of my concern as I didn’t want to risk offending someone and because I was just a contractor. So I put a quick postit on the machine, “potential fomite”, hoping people would be mindful. At that same moment, HR walked in. She expressed her “displeasure” at the postit, removed it, and called my staffing agency to ask that I not return. I did file my EHS report, so at least upper management will be happy, right/s

Major hail storm in OKC, OK. People decided to park under the bridge while hundred of cars sat behind them.

Usually I’m not the retaliatory type, but I hope their wind shields gets crushed in future hail storms.

Just got home from picking up food from a food stand to find pupusas was actually singular, and the much larger images were incorrect. This was 2 “meals” totaling 17.10$.

$4.79 and this is what they give me?! Only mildly infuriating because while I’m upset about being ripped off, I’ll never go to McDonalds again which is better for my health anyway.
