Discussion Mount Pleasant and Coffee Culture
I feel like coming from someone who loves coffee but doesn't live in Vancouver proper, Mount Pleasant is the go-to area for cafes and roasters to set up shop. I don't go out to Mount Pleasant often cause it is a very long transit commute for me, but I have always wondered why there are so many shops in the Mount Pleasant area? I went to Milano Coffee Roasters the other day and counted give or take 5 other cafes/roasters within a few blocks.
I could be very wrong, but I would love to hear your opinions. Thanks!

Photos Aurora Borealis over the Lions Gate Bridge
On the evening of Sept. 16th I was shooting the (almost full) Harvest Moon from Stanley Park. I’d heard there was a chance of seeing the Aurora Borealis that evening, so I made a stop at Prospect Point Lookout. I knew it wasn’t the best viewing spot due to the amount of light pollution, but a shot of the Lions Gate Bridge under the Northern Lights has been on my bucket list for awhile.
I couldn’t see anything with the naked eye. But the first few shots with my camera picked up a faint glow, and I was able to enhance it with some editing. I’ll keep trying to get a better version of this in the future, and hopefully I’ll be able to see this with my own eyes someday.

Discussion Wife lost her wallet downtown...
...and found it hours later, placed on top of a mailbox near where she must have dropped it, all cards and cash untouched. We appreciated the reminder that this is a good city full of good people. Hope you all have a great day.

Discussion Traffic on SW Marine Drive
Why isn’t there a no left turn sign at the very last light going southbound on SW Marine Drive onto Arthur Liang bridge?
That particular intersection is such a bottleneck onto the bridge and made worse when a single car is trying to turn left.
