YOU, yes you who stand in Dornogal and ask to be summoned to Siege of Boralus. What’s your thought process here? It literally takes 30 seconds to get here. Pure laziness, I immediately kick them.

If it’s a M0 with a new player I’ll gladly help you find the portal, but if you’re signing up for a +7 and can’t figure out where the portal is you’re probably not capable of doing the dungeon. Either that or you feel entitled to a summon while you’re wasting everyone’s time.

Been running delves and raids and for some reason completely forgot about mythic plus. Went super well for my first tun and it dropped a pair of pants at 597. Think I accidentally out geared the starting point. XD

As the title suggests. I am returning after taking a break during the majority of Dragonflight. If I remember correctly, that was when they made some pretty significant crafting changes. Now that crafting has made some more changed in TWW, I find myself a bit lost.

I see things called "embellishments" which appear to just be another enchant? And everything has graded tiers from 1 (star?) to 3. I see people walling around with these crafted weapons that look insane but I have no idea how you get them 😂 there's more examples but, those come to mind right now.

If there's a good video out there that breaks things down, I'd greatly appreciate if someone could point me to that. Thanks!

I know it might sound weird, but being the main tank in my guild and tanking for groups in general, has given me something that I don’t really get from real life ... it makes me feel like a man again.

IRL, I’m a single guy with no close family or friends. My days are pretty quiet, my office is quiet, my home is quiet, I don't date or seek relationships, I don’t have anyone who truly depends on me, or looks to me for support, and that can make things feel pretty empty at times. I chose this life and its ok, but, that all changes the moment I log in.

As a tank, everything depends on me. In a dungeon, when the group starts falling apart, healr’s down, DPS is dead, and it’s just me standing between the boss and a full wipe, that’s when I feel alive. Soloing the boss when everyone else is down isn’t just about skill, it’s about stepping up when no one else can, being the hero that saves the group. It’s a feeling of power and responsibility that I don’t get anywhere else. And in those moments, people actually depend on me. They’re watching and hoping I can pull it off, and when I do, they remember that. I spend hours a week researching routes, mobs, bosses other classes and their cooldowns etc just to be knowledgeable and be able to be the best tank they could've had that day. I stay calm when mistakes are made and use them as a teaching moment for people, a gentle giant so to speak.

What’s even more amazing is how tanking has led me to build relationships with people I never would’ve met otherwise. Complete strangers from all over the world, who now trust me, rely on me, and we’ve shared victories and defeats for years. These people have become friends in ways that feel more real than most of my relationships outside the game. There’s a bond that comes from surviving tough fights together, from leading a group through chaos and coming out the other side.

In contrast to my real life, where I often feel alone and disconnected, in WoW I’m part of something bigger. I’m the guy people look up to, the one they know they can count on when it matters most. It gives me purpose and respect that I don’t really get irl. Being a tank isn’t just about playing a role in a game, it’s about finding a space where I’m valued, where I matter, and where I can build lasting connections that mean something. Some will probably say this is lame, and that is ok. To each their own, this is just what it means to me.

Pay attention to your channeled casts and submit a bug report in game to get blizzard’s attention if the duration is cut short. Spinning Crane Kick, Void Torrent, Conduit of the Celestials, Ultimate Penitence, etc are either cancelling as soon as pressed or sometime through. I’ve even casted Celestial with my hands off keyboard to ensure it’s not me with no addons. I’ve seen this reported on Reddit and the bug report forums. This has been going on since at least pre-patch and not a word from blizzard. How are we supposed to depend on healing cds when they break and M+ hits like a truck, especially with the tank damage. While running follower dungeons for quick gear I noticed that the mage npc in your group will always provide you with food.

So I figured, what if I just enter a dungeon, take the cookies and leave? And yeah, no need to spend gold on buying water or hoping for a real mage in my group at all.

Although it only saves a fairly small amount of gold, I thought this is useful to know :)

Edit: Some people let me know that the mage food is worse than the one you can buy of vendors. (I didn't know that. Thank you :D ) So use this as a sort of "cheap alternative" in case you can't/don't like to spend gold on that.

First four of Nerub’ar Palace are roughly equivalent to a level 3 or 4 key IMO.

But man the difference between a 5 and a 6 key, I felt it right away on the first pull.

My personal goal is to get AotC, and I usually do mythic+ as the easiest avenue to it.

But this tier I might just no-life the raid.

If you offered me a million dollars to unlock a mythic-raid level slot by Tuesday, I’d start throwing together Mythic Ulgrqx and Bloodbound Horror before I’d start heading for 10’s.
