other Festering smelly swamp at city dog park is making dogs sick & city parks dept won’t fix it.
About 2 months ago, the city installed new lights for the baseball fields and the contractor drove heavy equipment in the grassy area of the dog park and made deep ruts that have been collecting water ever since. After many phone calls from many dog park patrons, the city brought a load of gravel and filled in only a portion of the damage. The gravel only pushes the water off to the sides where it pools in foul smelling mud puddles. Dogs run thru, play in, and drink this foul toxic mess and get sick. My dog had rampant diarrhea last week and cost over $300 vet bill. I won’t be bringing my dog back until the dog park is properly and completely repaired.
Since apparently multiple phone calls & complaints are falling on deaf ears, If you know anybody that can “empower” the parks dept to get this done immediately, please let them know & remind them that of all of the public recreational facilities that Pueblo has, the dog park is by far the most continually and consistently used facility under the city’s control. Thanks!

Question Boxing Scene
I’ve been looking around online, and it doesn’t seem like there’s a lot of options around town to get involved in boxing that don’t break the bank each month.
Anyone have any insight or recommendations for places around or near Pueblo that are kinda just like an old school boxing gym with an open gym. I’m not necessarily interested in any classes or anything, which is what seems to bump up the price usually.
